Karen LeGault

Karen LeGault is a Bay Area artist with a special interest in integrating Eastern and Western ideas and techniques.   While her primary work integrates Asian Brush Painting and watercolor, she occasionally works in pastel or acrylic. Her subjects are mainly floral, still life and water/landscape. 

Her work displays a sense of energy, serenity, realism and subtle yet vibrant color.   She works on rice paper and on traditional rag watercolor paper. 

The elegant simplicity, movement, joy and richness felt in her work are an extension of her 30+ year Tai Chi practice.
