Patricia Larkin Green's art and teaching are founded on classical Chinese Brush Painting techniques, philosophy, and subject matter. Her award winning work is in art collections around the world. For over two decades, she has been practicing sumi-e and studying under International Zen Master, Shozo Sato. All ages and levels of experience are welcome. Emphasis is placed on the beauty of each individual stroke of the brush. Sumi-e is a style of art in which the brush strokes capture the spirit (Ch’i) of nature rather than a photographic likeness.
