OAS has begun a new series titled "The Mechanics of Mastery" which guides you through the steps of becoming a master at Chinese Brush Painting. This quarter we look at the first of these steps - confidence with the brush.

This newsletter features the Winter Gentleman. Learn how to paint plum while cultivating your fundamental painting techniques. If you're eagerly awaiting spring, we feature the grass orchid, the symbol of the Spring Gentleman.

Winter and spring are perfect opportunities to paint on bold, vibrant colored papers - specifically red, which symbolizes joy! We feature our Red Shuen and Red Banner Paper.

We are featuring several specialty brushes that each have their own qualities and strengths. Take your painting to the next level!

Don't miss signing up for our upcoming Workshops in May and July! Spots are limited.
