Ning's daughter Jashin shares and breaks down her father's secret technique for depicting the moon in the mist in the context of a simple, easy composition. The moon can be done first or added to the painting. This is an excellent lesson for practicing and experimenting with wash techniques and different colors and the important use of negative, unpainted space.
