We are excited for our next Virtual Office Hour session where we get to dig into the nitty gritty of color technique in Chinese Painting. Our topics include:

• Brush choice for what types of color strokes
• Loading and blending techniques to products strokes that transition from dark to light
• How do we use water to create transparency?
• What are the strengths and weakness of different color brands in Chinese Painting
• How does paper choice affect color vibrancy and transparency
• Putting it all together in a simple composition

We've put together a materials list for everyone who wants to paint along during the session. To qualify to attend the session, just place any order before August 26th

Traditional Chinese colors: Indigo chips, Chinese yellow, Vermilion chips
