Fire Horse Seal Chop — Chinese New Year 2026
In celebration of the Chinese New Year 2026, the Year of the Fire Horse, this limited commemorative seal chop is created as both a functional object and a lasting work of art. The Horse—symbol of vitality, independence, and forward momentum—is rendered in a dynamic yet timeless form, honoring the powerful Fire element that defines this rare and auspicious year.
Each seal is individually carved from natural soapstone, ensuring that no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Subtle variations in stone, carving, and character are marks of authenticity—evidence of the singular nature of each piece.
The finished imprint measures approximately 1.5 cm (about 5/8 inch) in diameter and is carved as a positive seal. When stamped with traditional cinnabar seal paste, the Horse appears in vivid red, set against a clean background. The round seal form is defined by a red outer boundary associated with traditional East Asian seals.
