Packaging: Quantities of 10 Sheets are rolled and wrapped with brown corrugated paper at OAS. Quantities of 100 Sheets have soft folds from the manufacturer and are then wrapped with a paper for protection. Continuous roll comes in protective bag.
This xuan (shuen) paper is proven to produce beautiful color and smooth delivery of strokes. It is thicker than our single-ply xuan and thinner than our Jade Plate. The color shows well for light to dark gradations and is easier to control your moisture for those starting out.
Xuan Paper is the most popular paper in China among brush painters and calligraphers. It is the most sensitive of the rice papers, cheerfully displaying dynamic strokes and complex shade variations with translucent fluidity and original spontaneity.
