Description:
This cloudy caramel colored stone is marbled with shades of milky white, red, and black. The various colors and marbling of the stone give the appearance that clouds of light smoke are confined within it. Carved into the natural curvature of the stone is a thick bamboo trunk, with smaller stalks growing on its sides, and a snail, hidden in its shell, sitting on top. The end of the carving is marked by a chain of circles around the base of the bamboo.
Symbolic Meaning:
Bamboo is one of the Four Gentlemen, and the spirit of summer. It symbolizes the spirit of simplicity, purity, integrity, humility and self-cultivation, to name a few.
