The Spring Mountain

"This beautiful nymph wears flowers in stead of rich jewelry. Carrying a basket of flowers, she is standing all alone in the mountain surrounded in the clouds. The contemplative look on her face indicates that she is probably thinking of someone. The tiger beside her helps to identify her as the nymph Wu Ts'ai-luan, who had a love affair with a young gentleman named Wen Hsiao."

From the book "Richly Adorned & Quietly Dressed."
