"Home Town" by Ning Yeh featured in his book An Album: 80 Paintings and Ideas depicts the humble neighborhood in Taipei where Ning grew up. The painting is accompanied by a touching story of a seal carver who upon visiting Ning's childhood home repositioned all the seemingly negative aspects of his humble living situation into a story of hope and promise. He embodied this by the carving the seal "Studio Blessed with Potential"
This painting also shows the beautiful potential of the legendary Jen Ho paper from Taiwan. Jen Ho is a special paper created by Ling-nan artists in Taiwan and highly sought after for Ling-nan style and landscape painting.
