For a limited time, while supplies last, OAS packages three different postcard types in one set.
Western 'cold-press' watercolor postcard stock made specifically to handle any wet media. OAS chose to include it in our "Mail Art" line to give our patrons the ability to showcase their oriental single brush stroke that may leave a spontaneous textured appearance.
Includes fifteen (15) 140 lb (300 g/m²) 4" x 6" cards and a mini lesson to do your very own first hand painted card.
Canson Montval Postcards
Includes fifteen (15) 140 lb (300 g/m²) 5" x 7" cards and a mini lesson to do your very own first hand painted card.
Each card stock resembles bleed sensitivities similar to shuen (xuan) "rice paper". It;s a great medium for our brush painting and sumi-e artists interested in sending a personal note while sharing their joy for their Chinese brush painting and Sumi-e. This cardstock is slightly thicker than the purple label 'Double Shuen' version. It's a brighter white and claims to be a three layer Shuen/Xuan cardstock.
Each card's opposing side follows Japanese address guidelines.
ETEGAMI Gasenshi Postcards
Includes 10 cards and a mini lesson to do your very own first hand painted card. Card size is approximately 5- 7/8" x 3- 15/16".
